604th Security Forces Squadron
Mission
To provide physical security, force protection measures, law enforcement services and assists Commanders in maintaining good order and discipline;
CAPABILITIES :
Provides security for base defense;
Provides security and continuous protection of PAF air assets and vital installations;
Conducts patrol within the immediate vicinity of the base and when necessary provides quick reaction force during DEFCON situation.
Enforce military laws, base regulation and orders;
Conducts investigation of crimes and offenses committed within the base;
Performs overt close-in security and honor escort duties to VIPs and ranking military officers visiting the base;
Corrects, confines or detrains erring military and civilian personnel;
Coordinates with other civil and military agencies regarding police matters;
Screens and issues base pass to visitors, traders and concessionaires; and
Performs other functions as directed by Group Commander, 600th Air Base Group
